काय म्हणावं आणि कुणाला म्हणावं असं झालंय ; स्वप्निल ला अभिनंदन देऊ कि निर्देशक ला - या मग पुस्तकाच्या लेखकाला ? नाही तर मग ज्यांनी स्क्रिप्ट लिहिली त्यांना ? आणि बाकी कलाकार , खास म्हणून नितीश ? शब्द नाही उरले मनामध्ये विवरण करायला , काहीच कळेनासं झालंय हा रिव्ह्यू लिहिताना. पण एक मात्र नक्की - स्वप्नील ची गोष्टी व स्क्रिप्ट ची निव्वड अगदी अप्रतिम! मोघेही त्यांनी नावीन्य दाखवलंच आपल्याला- म्हणून खरंतर हे आपल्याला नवीन भासायला नकोत , पण तरी समांतर बघितल्या नंतर आता पुन्हा ह्याची जाणीव होत आहे. म्हणून सर्वप्रथम स्वप्निल भावाला अभिनंदन - त्याची स्क्रिप्ट ची निव्वड बद्दल. हा त्याचा आणि सुबोध भावे ह्यांचा एक चिन्ह झाला आहेत - नेहेमी नावीन्य असतं   त्यांच्या चित्रपट आणि सिरीयल मध्ये. पुन्हा एकदा अभिनंदन! तुम्हा दोघांची चित्रपट / सिरीयल इतकी वेगवेगळी प्रकार ची असतात - हे कधीच सोडू नये ही   विनंती. दोघांना! आम्ही दर्शक उत्सुकतेने म्हणूनच वाट   बघतो तुमच्या चित्रपटाची! गोष्टं समांतर हे एक मराठी मधील बहुचर्चित पुस्तक , त्याचं   धारावाहिक मांडले आहे सर्वांनी. { श...

Mumbai Pune Mumbai – the Marathi Movie Franchise, is now in its 3 rd installment – and is easily the most famous movie franchise in Marathi cinema at least in the first two parts. To top that, the lead pair – Swapnil/Mukta is also probably the most famous and well liked pair in Marathi entertainment, with their pairing being a popular one in several movies.   Thus, extending it to a third part was both an opportunity as well as a risk; as it turned out, it proved to be a risk worth taking! STORY As is by now usual for Marathi Cinema, the story is pretty much unique. The third part of this iconic franchise has iconic lead actors Gauri and Gautam [probably by now household names in a majority of Marathi homes} going the family way. Subodh Bhave strikes again… with a stupendous performance, in a movie that is going to prove hard to forget for me at least. It was a genuine pleasure to see yet another spine chilling thriller in Marathi entertainment – after the stunning Rudram . Thrillers are a generally under-represented theme in Marathi Entertainment – I can offhand think of very few… Asambhav, Rudram, Ringa Ringa, Chakwa and one or two more. That is another reason why this movie comes as a distinct relief and pleasure… the range, depth and quality of Marathi Cinema   / Serials is getting to be near absolutely unsurpassed now, with the additions in this genre. The story is absolutely taut, riveting and flawless : it gets to a fast start, right from the word go – keeps its relentless pace throughout, without letting up. This is a list of my favourite movies / serials, spanning Marathi – English as well as Hindi. While I am openly tilted towards Marathi entertainment of all kinds, in compiling this, I have made every effort to remain as unbiased as feasible. That said, this subject – AV Entertainment – is by definition subjective, and thus, to that extent, the element of subjectivity is present. I have enumerated the top 30 here –of these, 20 are Marathi; 4 are in English, 1 German and 5 are Hindi Movies. Among Hindi movies – none are recent; the latest is 2009. CRITERIA The criteria for introducing objectivity in the judgements I have used are – Story, Character Charts, Script, Performance, Uniqueness of concept / script / story, Lesson from movie, My response & mood on watching, Screenplay, Direction, Camerawork / Cinematography in that order.     {Fair decleration of perceptive noise source in rating} I have not given any weightage to Special Effects / technology etc...
